SMBSMG University MBA Admissions 2023
Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) offers MBA programs for the academic year 2023. Admissions to the MBA program are based on the entrance examination conducted by the university or through valid scores of national level management entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and GMAT.
Eligibility for the MBA program requires a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam, GD, PI, and their academic record.

To be considered for admission to the MBA program, candidates must hold either a Bachelor’s Degree from Mahatma Gandhi University or an equivalent degree from a recognized university, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. However, for SC/ST candidates, a pass in the qualifying exam is sufficient. Candidates awaiting final results of their qualifying exam may also apply, but they must provide their certificates and mark lists before the start of their first MBA semester. The University/Government rules govern relaxation of marks and reservation of seats. Additionally, applicants must have a valid score from one of the following exams: CMAT, CAT, or KMAT (Kerala Management Aptitude Test). Candidates from universities outside of Mahatma Gandhi University must present an eligibility certificate and migration certificate/NOC from their previous university at the time of their interview or group discussion.
